Code Enforcement Inspector

The City of Jennings is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement Inspector. Duties include conducting interior and exterior inspections, writing reports, issuing citations, and testifying in court. Must be familiar with ICC codes and have current valid driver’s license.

“`Requirements:“`
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role preferred.
– Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance management.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
– Excellent report writing skills to document inspection findings accurately.
– Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements, such as FDA regulations.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
